FAQ's – (Frequently asked questions)
How do I order ?
We are an online retailer, and as such do not have a public retail unit for
callers. Please use the website to order, and if you encounter any problems
with ordering please call us or email us.
The website won’t take my card, what do I do ?
Sometimes due to security issues our card processor Paypal may delay your
payment whilst waiting on security checks. If you are in a rush, we can take
orders over the phone. We use a different card processor over the phone, however
there is no surcharge for this service.
I need my order sending quickly, can you do it ?
Please make sure the item you want is in stock. If you want a live stock
update, go to the item product page and click the "Live Stock Update" text link
below the stock information. This will give you a live update. We offer next day
delivery as one of our many delivery options, please see here ;

We will need to receive your order & cleared payment before the cut off time.
The item I want is out of stock, can I still order it ?
Please first make sure the item has recently arrived into stock. To do this
simply click the "Live Stock update" link.
If the item still shows as out of stock then we currently do not offer the
ordering of out of stock items.
We do offer an excellent "Stock Alert" function however, so please click the
stock alert link on the product page of the item that is out of stock and our
system will e-mail you as soon as stock arrives.
When Will I get my order ?
It depends on several things. First of all check our delivery page.

you a good idea of when you will receive it, though we always send an e-mail on
the day of dispatch. It is also a good idea to make sure the item you ordered is
in stock. If you want a live stock update, go to the item product page and click
the "Live Stock update" text link below the stock information. This will give
you a live update
I want to order several items, but some of them are out of stock, can I order
them ?
We currently are not taking orders for out of stock items. Please check the
item hasn't recently arrived into stock by clicking the "Live Stock update" link
on the product page of the item.
If the items are still out of stock, please go ahead and order the in stock
items and add a stock alert for the out of stock items.
I want to buy for trade and make bulk orders. Can I get a discount ?
As we already price all our stock at trade price, we have little movement for
discounting. In cases of making bulk orders, depending on the item and amount,
we may be able to offer a discount. Please contact us.
We only use Pro-forma and purchase orders, can we order from you ?
We are happy to accept purchase orders if the payment will be received prior to
the items being dispatched.
We have a very selective policy on credit accounts. However, if you are an
educational or government institution, we may be able to help. Please contact
us to discuss.
Can you give me a quote for some items I'm looking to source ?
We are always happy to provide quotes for potential orders.
Even if the items you are looking for are not listed on our site, we should be
able to source them from a reputable UK supplier, so please get in touch.
I want to return something I no longer want, how do I do it ?
We operate under very strict guidelines for returns. Please see our terms &

For us to accept a non-faulty item, we must be notified within 7 days of you
receiving it, and the item & the packaging must be unopened & unused and in
perfect resalable condition.
As we operate in full accordance to DSR (Distance selling regulations) we do not
charge any re-stocking fees.
I have a faulty item, I need to get it fixed/replacement/returned, how do I do
it ?
In the first instance it is always worth checking whether the manufacturer
deals with faulty items directly. In many cases, even if they don’t, you will
need to contact them so they can prove it is faulty & give you a reference
number.
If you have no success with the above, please contact us for further help.
In most cases, once we have approval for the return, we can get the faulty item
picked up from you at no cost.
The returns process; from getting approval, picking the item up & sending a
replacement/refund can take up to 2 weeks, though we are usually able to sort
it out sooner than that.
If you are in urgent need of a replacement, the only option is to purchase the
item again. In this instance we will then only refund the cost of the original
order, minus the delivery charge.
